Citation:

Father Joseph A.Gough Foundation Mohammed Masanneh Ceesay Hall of Fame Award
presented to Bye Malleh Wadda in recognition of his lifetime of unmatched contribution to Gambian Sports.

He represented his country with honour and distinction in six sports : Football, Basketball, Athletics, Rugby, Volleyball and Tennis. He is the greatest sportsman in the history of the Gambia. Given in January 2009 in The Republic of The Gambia.
